What You Need to Know About the 2020 Perodua Myvi

· Automotive News

The latest Perodua Myvi has gained a significant safety boost and a new striking body colour for 2020 update. As one of the best-selling cars in Malaysia, it is now equipped with the Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) 2.0, the latest version of the safety suite.

Another hugely-welcoming highlight is that the ASA 2.0 is not only limited to the range-topping 1.5 AV (like the previous Myvi), but is now available as standard on the 1.5 H, and optional to the 1.3 X.

In 2019, ASA 2.0 first appeared on the Aruz, adding Pedestrian Detection (up to 50 km / h) to the series, and increasing PCW and PCB operating speeds to 100 km/h and 80 km/h respectively.

The Perodua president and CEO Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad also mentioned that, “With the inclusion of ASA 2.0, the Perodua Myvi takes advanced safety to a whole new level at this price point, and it’s now more widely available within the line-up. The latest Myvi carries on the Perodua tradition of bringing advanced safety technology to the people by making it affordable and accessible to all.”

Other than the new Electric Blue, it is also available in Ivory White, Glittering Silver and Lava Red.
