A Honda CR-V driver arrested for blocking an Ambulance several times

A video of White CR-V went viral after the driver blocked an ambulance at the North - South Highway traveling north near Gopeng. The incident, which was captured in a 37-second video, spread quickly when it was shared by social media users on the Facebook page, showing the SUV refusing to give to the ambulance, causing the vehicle to shift to the left lane.

The driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) who blocked an ambulance at Kilometer 292 on the North - South Highway traveling north will face appropriate charges, according to police. Kampar District Police Chief Supt Mohamad Nazri Daud said the driver and vehicle owner arrived at the District Police Headquarters at 5 p.m. to help with the investigation.

Further investigation found that the driver of the vehicle, who is also a 62 -year -old man, has been suffering from tinnitus - acoustic neuroma for the past three years. The man is still receiving further treatment from a specialist at the University of Malaya Medical Center. 

The driver of the Honda CRV SUV was driving in the right lane when the ambulance behind him blew the siren and horn, forcing the ambulance driver to cut across the left lane. The video went viral and caught the attention of Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. He described the driver's actions as selfish.
